Enjoy. Voila, passion ice tea. Sometimes I flavor the sugar syrup with a little vanilla extract when I remember, otherwise it's still good. Alternatively you could add lemonade like they do at Starbucks as well. I have been a huge iced tea fan my whole life and a Venti Passion Iced Tea sweetened is my absolute favorite drink at Starbucks. While the iced tea is pretty cheap option at Starbucks, by buying this, I am able to recreate my favorite drink at home.I tie together 4 tea bags, add it to 2 qts of water and refrigerate it a couple of hours Then I add in about a cup of sugar syrup (made by boiling 1 cup sugar/1 cup water and letting it cool). Add a little lemon juice for an extra kick.
Lot cheaper buying it here too - it's usually more expensive in the store. I can find TAZO tea in a few grocery stores but never the Passion kind. Not only does it taste great, but I've heard hibiscus tea can help lower cholesterol.
If you don't like sweet teas & enjoy a tart tea, this one is great. This is one of them. I hate sweet teas. I drink alot of different "frou frou" teas (including several varieties of Celestial Seasonings) but there are only a few that are my top "repeats". This is definitely tart enough that if you like sweet tea, you will have to use alot of sweetener.
You will not be disappointed. Even eight year olds enjoy the refreshing blend. "This is the life." I smiled and said yes, "What an enchanting and heavenly tea for our tea party today." We now have added another flavor and brand of tea to choose from when we plan our daily tea parties. During our afternoon conversation she stated. Today we had Tazo's Passion Tea. My granddaughter, soon to be eight, and I always have an afternoon tea party. I like mine hot and she likes hers cold. Add this to your list of teas.
After spending tons of $$ on it, I decided to purchase it myself and make is myself. Saves me $$ and I can make as much of it as I want.You can actually purchase the ice tea bags that are bigger so you only use 1 packet to make a big batch. This tea is offered cold at Starbucks. Starbucks adds lemonade to it if you'd like.
